Polaris India has swept the top 3 slots with its Polaris RZR in XTreme T3 category at Desert Storm 2016.
Polaris India Pvt. Ltd, a subsidiary owned by Polaris Industries Inc., giant in off-road and All-Terrain Vehicles has managed to win top three positions in the XTreme T3 category at the 14th edition of Desert Storm. This Desert Storm was held in Rajasthan from April 2 to April 10, 2016. Talking about the positions secured at the event, rally champion Guhaan Shetty along with D Ganesha Moorthy secured the first position while the duo power of women N Smitha and Ashika Menezes secured the second slot. And the third position was held by the pair of Arindam Saikia and Jeevarathinam in Xtreme T3 category of over 500cc vehicles.

This 6 day rally saw the total participation of 14 rallyists including four female rallyists on Polaris RZR in the XTreme T3 category. Well known for its longest and toughest motorsport rallies, Desert Storm 2016 assess qualities such as endurance, ingenuity, physical and driver's mental toughness along with sturdiness of the vehicle. The participants of the Desert Storm 2016 competed against each other in 4 challenging categories such as XTreme, NDure, XPlore and Moto.
Polaris India participated for the fifth time in the rally and showcased true power of its highly praised RZR vehicles that are recognized for their high durability as well as low maintenance qualities. The vehicles delivered high performance without demanding any service during the consecutives days of the rallies. Recognized as one of India's supreme motorsport event on sand ridges, the rallyists covered approximately 2,300 kms navigating through the dry barrens and rocky terrains of Rajasthan. This year's Desert Storm saw a record participation of more than 200 motorsport enthusiasts.
