Although off-road vehicles are made to deal with that, they cannot accommodate the weight of a driver beyond its capacity. Therefore, you need to make sure that the size of the vehicle you are choosing must comply with your body weight so that the center of gravity can be maintained.
▶ Get safety training - Almost all dealerships will ask you to attend a safety training course if you are a novice. Off-road vehicles are not similarly handled as regular cars or bikes, and so you need to get trained to know what you will have to deal with. If you cannot find a trainer, read the manuals well and practice on plain fields before you hit the rough land.
▶ Do a pre-run test - No matter whether it is your first drive or the hundredth, an ATV rider always takes stock of his or her vehicle before hopping on. Tug at the wheels and handles to see if they are fixed, check the suspensions, throttle, fuel, and everything else than can be checked.
