Polaris India is distributor in an all-new off road vehicle, the Ranger 6×6 800. This can be modified in an off-road ambulance which is now available at Navnit Motors Polaris Commercial ATV Showroom in Mumbai and Bangalore in India.
Polaris and Bafna Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. have together developed this modified off road vehicle. Having been designed specifically for providing emergency medical help, people stuck in places inaccessible by a regular ambulance can benefit from it. Rural zones and disaster hit regions will be serviced with the Ranger 6×6 800 ambulances.
Some features of this off road ambulance are as follows:
▶ The Polaris Ranger 6×6 800 has an engine capacity of 760cc. It works on 40hp and has electronic fuel injection. So the ride can clear highways, move across bumpy roads, or handling fire in narrow streets.
▶ It has 6 wheels and on-demand true all-wheel drive with versatrac turf mode can be engaged on the flick of a button.
▶ It has a 34.1 Ltr fuel tank capacity. So this ambulance can travel across long stretches that are bereft of petrol pumps.

▶ Some other inbuilt instrumentation available in the model apart from life support arrangements are digital gauge, speedometer, odometer, tachometer, trip meter, hour meter, clock, gear indicator, fuel gauge, hi-temp/low-battery lights, dc outlets.
Hence the vehicle is apt for providing help and supplying medical supervision in unapproachable regions. Just like all other Polaris products, this vehicle is also designed with inherent off-road competences and has been tested in harsh circumstances.
